Sneak Peak

I am so excited about working on a group of paintings I am getting together for Mountain Trails Gallery in Jackson Hole, WY. I wanted to show a sneak peak of one in progress. I will share the rest of the painting when it is complete. I have been so inspired by my trip to Zapata Ranch in CO and I could not be happier that it is really showing in my work.  I’ll keep you posted!

American Society of Marine Artists 16th National Exhibition

I am very excited to announce my painting, “Amazing Grace”, has been accepted to be included in the American Society of Marine Artists 16th National Exhibition

"Amazing Grace"
Oil on Canvas
16” x 24”

Painting for me is a never ending journey of discovery and exploration. I have a fascination with light and movement and love finding new ways convey the message I am after. My goal is to leave an image in someone’s mind long after they have walked away from the painting. This composition fit all of those criteria with its simple color palate, strong contrast and lost edges which work together to create a since of grace and movement.

I received my acceptance into Alpharetta Arts Streetfest, I swore I would not do anymore out door shows, but I have to say I really enjoy being outdoors chatting with the patrons about Art! So I thought I might do just this one for the year! It looks like a well-organized show with some wonderful art.
I feel fortunate to have been accepted.
